Position:     Asst Relationship Manager

Reporting to:     Territory Manager    Band:    F2
Context & Role:  Provide support in Sales of Life Insurance business through bank customers at bank branches across assigned locations

Key Responsibilities:                                                                                                               

•    Assist /help SP to generate leads and log in prospective applications
•    Driving and motivating the branch staff along with bank SP, logging in applications sourced, through operations department
•    Tapping the right database of the branch and ensure authentic documentation
•    Build relationship with the business partners and ensure the team targets are met effectively
•    Adhering to MetLife policies and providing need based selling support.
•    Ensuring that customers are well informed of the product features sold through SP’s/ Bank
•    Acting as a team player and reporting the number of applications logged in for the business everyday to the reporting manager without fail
•    Ensure high level of Persistency & Customer Service to the customers    Measures of Performance:
•    New Business Sales Processing: 70%            
•    Product Mix: 20% 
•    Renewal Premium Collection : 10%                                                                                                     

Relationships:
Internal Business Relationship: Training, HR, Key stake holders, MIS & Operations               External Business Relationship: Channel Partner   - BM’s of assigned branches & SPs
Required qualifications and experience :
Graduation/ Post Graduation Degree/Professional Degree
Number of years: 1 year to 2 years
• Preferred Nature of Industry: Insurance - Banking
• Experienced candidates with good background, selling skills and understanding of insurance industry. (Good advisors with strong insurance background can also be referred)
Knowledge and skills desired :
Technical/ Functional Essential: Experience in insurance sales; Excellent Interpersonal Skills; Basic knowledge on Computer Operations
Desirable:  Knowledge about the insurance industry; Should be high on initiative; Well groomed and confident

Behaviours  to Key Decisions :
Well groomed, confident , should have good communication skills and should be able to speak one regional language compulsorily (applicable for operating regions)

• Should have good public speaking  and facilitation skills – able to address and motivate the bank staff           

 • Should be well versed with the local language and the mapped area
• Should be aggressive to meet the targets effectively
• Should not succumb to pressure and able to source business independently
• Should be mobile and willing to travel and lead the team across the branches
•Should be high on integrity    • Should have customer orientation
