Job Summary

Quantitative Researchers play a key role on the Quantitative Research (“QR”) team, which is responsible for developing and testing automated quant trading strategies using sophisticated statistical techniques.

Responsbilities

1. Conceptualize valuation strategies, develop and continuously improve upon mathematical models, and help translate algorithms into code
2. Back test and implement trading models and signals in a live trading environment
3. Use unconventional data sources to drive innovation
4. Conduct research and statistical analysis to build and refine monetization systems for trading signals

Skills & Talents

1. Advanced training in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or another highly quantitative field (Bachelors, Masters, PhD degree)
2. Strong knowledge of probability and statistics(e.g.,machinelearning,time-series analysis,patternrecognition,NLP)
3. Prior experience working in a data driven research environment
4. Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g.,MongoDB)
5. Experience with distributed computing using MapReduce
6. Experience with analytical packages (e.g., R,Matlab)
7. Independent research experience
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
9. Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
10. Strong written and verbal communications skills
