Antarang Foundation enables the transition of youth from education to employment through intensive programs that build self-reliance and core employ-ability skills. Antarang’s intervention has served over 5000 youth from low-income communities in Mumbai.

"As a Trainer, you would show your participants where to look but not what to see."

The Trainers in centers will deliver outstanding training and workshop activities that engage Antarang students, meets their learning objectives and contributes to the program’s overall performance targets. Additionally, the trainer will support the students from enrollment phase to placement and mentor-ship phase. The role is available as a part time appointment where the trainer is expected to work for 4 hours a day.

Responsibilities and Duties

Major responsibilities:

Recruit students in Antarang Centers along with the Community Engagement Team.

Instill a healthy learning culture where students actively collaborate and take ownership of the program.

Coach the group through the entire group life cycle; enrollment, facilitation, exposure visits, guest speakers, interview preparation, placements, mentoring.

Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders.

Follow a proprietary curriculum designed by Antarang. Trainers will be trained by Antarang in delivering the curriculum.

Ensure timely database updates and reporting.

Attend all team meetings and training programs.

Qualifications and Skills

Profile Requisites:

Graduate with minimum 1 year of experience.

Excellent communication: Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory.

Passionate about working with low income communities.

Flexibility to work on weekends.

Ability to commit for a minimum period of one year.

Ability to attend the pre-service training.

Salary: 30,000.00 to 120,000.00 /year
